ATX Spec The ATX specification for your reference to the results below is on the left.

The PFC is an excellent 96+ percent throughout, but more importantly, efficiency is a massive and consistent 82+ percent but topped out at over 84 percent - it certainly fits the bill for 80Plus and Energy Star 4.0. At normal performance of 50-75 percent the PSU performs very well with the entire rail set performs within the ATX spec.

At 100 percent load with a 3.3/5V weighting we see the average 5V reading drop below ATX spec - even though the ATX socket provided 4.82V the 5V through a Molex gave a disappointing 4.61V at the connector. This was also just 67 percent loaded on the 5V rail too - at 20A out of 30A. The average 12V rating is 11.54V which is within ATX spec but again, this is quite low, even for just 76.5 percent of the 12V load.
Both 3.3V 100% loads are perfectly fine though, even in the high 21A out of 24A loading in the 3.3/5V weighting test. The 3.3/5V weighted test may not represent a typical PC, but it instead tests to see if the manufacturers claims are justified. Unfortunately in this instance it seems PCPC is a bit overzealous with its 5V rail rating.

In the 12V weighted 100 percent load test the Silencer 750W survived and despite being listed as red in the test, the average 12V reading of 11.47V at 54.9A out of 60A total is within ATX spec, even though it is within the 1 percent bottom end.
